Benefits of the University of Alberta Scholarships:

The University of Alberta offers scholarships for international students in Canada, funded by various sources including the Canadian and Alberta governments.

International Student Scholarships:

The scholarships are available to new first-year undergraduate students with a valid student visa. These scholarships are worth up to $9,000 and are available for payment over a four-year period.

Gold Standard Scholarship:

These scholarships, which have a maximum value of $6,000, are available to the top 5% of students in academic achievement.

Entrance scholarships:

Both bachelor’s and graduate degree programmes are eligible for these scholarships. No additional application is required for these scholarships. After being admitted, the university was immediately considered for this scholarship.

Doctoral Recruitment Scholarship:

These scholarships are designed for PhD students to meet their fee requirements having value of $5,000/Year.

Graduate Excellence Scholarship:

A $15,000 scholarship is available to master’s and doctoral degree candidates to help with living expenses.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The Alberta Scholarships are open to applicants of any nationality.
  • You need a high school certificate in order to apply for a bachelor’s degree.
  • An undergraduate degree is a prerequisite for a master’s degree.
  • A master’s degree certificate is necessary in order to get admitted to a PhD programme.
